The past years of ESPCI

Introduction

The first European Symposium on Paediatric Cochlear Implantation was organized by the Nottingham Cochlear Implant team in 1992. Since then, a symposium has been held in Europe every other year with increasing interest and size. The symposia ensure that paediatric cochlear implantation continues to fulfil its life changing potential for children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
